Nashua Children's Home Visit 2019- Youth Group

12/21/19 Nashua Children’s Home Visit-- This past Saturday, members from the IANH Youth Group visited the Nashua Children’s home, a foster home with residential and educational programs, and delivered gifts for some of the kids. Every year, the Youth Group receives a wishlist from the kids at the children’s home. Members from our youth group went out and bought these presents to give to these kids for Christmas. Members Sumana, Anica, Trisha, Darshan, and Nitya went to deliver all the gifts and learn about the Children’s Home. They met with Lori Wilshire, who is in charge at the Nashua Children’s Home, and she shared her story and her connection to it, as well as the process and structure of the children’s home. She also shared a few more heartwarming stories of other people who were once at the home, now doing great things. It was a great experience for all of us, and thank you to everyone that came and donated!
